Home Matters: Do you know Joe?

In this stand-alone sermon, we want to unpack the purpose of the home. It is important to understand that God instituted the home to cultivate an environment of learning. The home should the place that children hear about Jesus and the Gospel. The purpose of the church is to reinforce the teaching in the home, along with partnering with parents in teaching the Gospel. The home should be a place where parents reflect the Gospel in front of kids. Dads are living examples of being the Christ-portraying figure and moms are living examples of being the Church-portraying figure.
